Brighten Your Winter Pop Of Colour

Brighten Your Winter Pop Of Colour

It is almost the end of the first month of 2020 and for some it's has been the month of abstinence, as dry January and Veganuary have become popular after the excesses of the festive season. This is something I do not take part in, as my birthday, along with many of my family members who also have their birthday's in January. So as they say on social media, No Dry January Here #nodryjanuaryhere. Well it would be so rude to not raise of glass of fizz in celebration.

Unfortunately it is still more than few weeks until Spring and for me I personally find the dark, dreary and cold days very depressing. What better way to perk yourself up then, than adding bright colours to your look. Be brave, although you don't have to go the whole hog and go head to toe if you don't want to. Just add a pop of colour with an accessory, maybe a scarf, shoes or even a spectacular statement handbag. The colour is up to you, just make sure it zings and stands out.

We all know that the Pantone colour is Classic Blue, a bit bland and safe so why no make that stand out statement with a bag in electric blue. This fabulous shade of blue is perfect if you want to go bright but don't want to be too shocking. Pratesi luxury leather designers based in Tuscany produce the most vibrant of coloured leathers, all are vegetable tanned and this luxury bucket bag would be just perfect.

Shocking pink is another great colour. It's not to everyones taste but a great way to inject some much needed colour during this dreary time. I love this Veneto vivid pink leather, slim backpack by Terrida, the added pop of contrast green lining and the beautifully exquisite, multi coloured Murano glass zip pulls. Such stylish detailing.

Green is another popular colour to add a bit of spring to your outfit and look. The Ghibli rich green, woven leather grab bag is an exclusive design, created by artisans using a technique that requires no stitching. It is also a stunning piece of art too that has taken many hours to produce.

Of course an all time favourite is vibrant red. Some may think it is a festive colour but it is actually popular all year round, especially if, like me you wear a lot of black. A hot red looks particularly good in a patent leather and Arcadia Italian designers from Italy's east coast are known for their patent embossed leather fashion bags and the Elise classic grab bag is my choice to add some zest.
