Terms and Conditions

Contract

A contract between you and Attavanti for the purchase of goods will exist once we confirm your order via email. This will be deemed complete regardless of whether for reasons outside our control you have not received that email.

All purchases are for personal or gift use of the buyer only. Attavanti reserves the right to restrict quantities of any one item being shipped to one customer or address. You agree that email can be used as a long distance means of communication

When registering you will be asked for a username and password. It is your responsibility to keep that information safe. Attavanti reserve the right to suspend or terminate you access to the site without notice if you misuse the site.

Availability

If an item is out of stock please contact us and we will do our best to source that particular bag for you. Some of our products are made to order and in most cases take 7 - 14 days.

Bespoke pre-order items are non-refundable as these are made to order.

We do try to ensure that information on the website is up to date. While we do list availability information for products on the website, we cannot guarantee the specific availability of items. If an item is not available for dispatch we will inform you by email. In August Italian suppliers shut down and this may result in a delay for items shipped direct from Italy, we will inform you by email of time delay and expected date of despatch.

Delivery

Free delivery is for UK customers only and is Standard Recorded/Signed For, with larger items via courier. A signature will be required and a tracking number will be advised by email and usually takes 2-3 days*. Orders received before 12 noon will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 12 noon will be dispatched the next day. This applies Monday to Friday. Orders received after 12 noon Friday and during Saturday and  Sunday will be dispatched Monday. Items sent via courier may take an extra day to dispatch to allow for collection. 

*In the event that we do not have stock in our warehouse some Terrida, Chiarugi, Pelle Vera, Arcadia, Giorgio Fedon, and Pratesi, items may be shipped directly from Italy and usually takes 5-6 days. In August Italian suppliers shut down and this may result in a delay for items shipped direct from Italy, we will inform you by email of time delay and expected date of despatch.

Delivery for EU customers is £12.95 and is International Signed For or via courier**. A signature will be required and a tracking number will be advised by email and usually takes 3-4 days*. Orders received before 12 noon will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 12 noon will be dispatched the next day. This applies Monday to Friday. Orders received after 12 noon Friday and during Saturday and Sunday will be dispatched Monday. Items sent via courier may take an extra day to dispatch to allow for collection. Items may be subject to delay due to customs checks.

**With the exception of Cyprus and Malta which are charged at £28.

Delivery for US and Canada is £22.00. Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong is £28 and is by courier. A signature will be required and a tracking number will be advised by email and usually takes 4-6 days*.

If you are outside the US, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong please contact us for an accurate quote for shipping.

There will be a delay in despatch during Bank Holidays, Easter, Christmas and New year. Plus items may take a little longer during peak times due to volume on the run up to Christmas.

Last shipping dates for Christmas. UK if item is in our warehouse 22nd December, if shipped from Italy 21st December.

EU 21st December

USA Canada if item is in our Warehouse 21st December, if shipped from Italy 18th December.

Taxes & Duties

No taxes are charged by Attavanti but please be aware that all shipments are DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid) and if you order from our site outside the EU import duties and taxes may be charged by Customs which are levied once the package reaches your country. These additional charges are the customer’s responsibility. We have no control over these charges or the amount. When ordering you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. You can contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to accept a parcel due to import duties or taxes you will be charged all postal charges including return shipment costs, customs charges and handling fees.

Payment

Attavanti accepts most major credit cards via Sage Pay and PayPal. We use Sage Pay to collect/process transaction information http://www.sagepay.com/security_policy. All credit card and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We cannot be liable for any delay caused by refusal of payment. 

Conformity of goods

Attavanti takes care that its descriptions and images are as accurate as possible but we cannot accept responsibility due to colour variation caused by technical limitations, monitor colour and contrasts. Leather being a natural product, slight variation in colour and texture may occur in the tanning process of the hides.

Information on website is a guide only and are subject to change without notice. All measurements are approx and height does not include handles. Measurements are of width, height and depth.

We do try to ensure that information on the website is up to date, but do not accept liability for any omissions and or errors and reserve the right to change information, prices, products and services. While we do list availability information for products on the website, we cannot guarantee the specific availability of items. If an item is not available for dispatch we will inform you by email and refund you in full.

Returning a Product for exchange or refund

Should you wish to return an item we are happy to offer an exchange or refund. Please contact us first at sales@attavanti.com Returns should be addressed to: Attavanti Limited, County House, St Mary's Street, Worcester, Worcestershire, WR1 1HB, United Kingdom but some items may need to be returned to Italy. The items should be returned within 14 days of receipt. All returns must be in perfect, unused condition with tags still attached and with their original packaging. We do not accept returns for scratched, damaged or not in original packaging with tags attached.

Bespoke pre-orders that are handmade to customer specification are not returnable.

Postage is at buyers cost and please send using recorded or tracked delivery. Please keep receipt as proof of posting as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post.

Returning a product if damaged or defective

We are sorry in the unlikely event that the bag you receive is defective or damaged in transit. The fault should be apparent straight away or after initial use. Please contact us within 10 days to let us know at sales@attavanti.com  A fault is classed as a defect in the appearance or function. Once goods are received we will process a refund plus postage or send a replacement and refund postage. Please return via recorded delivery and we will reimburse the cost of postage. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

Please note that if an item is deemed not to be defective the terms for refunds and exchanges will apply and return postage will not be reimbursed.

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order in line with the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations 2000. If the item has been dispatched or delivered you may cancel the item up to 7 working days, starting from the day after the product was received. Please then follow the returns procedure above for a refund. You will be liable for recorded return postage.

Private Policy

At Attavanti we are committed to protecting your privacy and all the requirements of the UK Data Protection 1998. None of your details, personal information will be passed on to other companies. Any data we do collect is used to improve your future shopping experience and our efficency. By using the website you consent to the collection and use by Attavanti.
