I watched the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle along with 2 billion others people around the World. We all had an inkling this would not be your usual, staid traditional wedding as the bride and groom had been given more freedom to put their own mark on their nuptials. A match made in heaven you may say and wow this was a ceremony to be remembered for it's love, sheer style, beauty and magical moments.

The following are my 5 favourite moments of the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex, during what has already be called the wedding of the century.

Arrival of the Bride

This drew gasps from everyone eager to get a glimpse of the much talked about wedding dress. As Meghan emerged from the Phantom Rolls Royce and started to climb the steps to the South door of St Georges Chapel, the sun made an amazing iridescent, radiant aura around her. Wow, the sheer beauty of the bride, the dress and gossamer hand stitched veil. It could now be fully seen and revealed that the dress was a most incredible white, silk gown by Claire Waite Keller, head of the French fashion house, Givenchy and the long trailing veil was embellished with hand stitched flowers from the 53 Commonwealth countries. A classic, striking gown with elegant lines, beautiful bateaux neckline, full skirt with train, nothing fussy, just like Meghan who chose natural makeup and hair.

Solo Entrance 

Meghan once inside St George's Chapel looked so relaxed inside the Nave as she waited, poised before walking down the aisle. The huge natural flower arrangements that framed the South door and the sunlight outside again produced the most beautiful, magical backdrop. The very loud trumpet fanfare that signalled her arrival and the pageboy's joyous reaction to the noise is another unforgettable moment. The 10 small bridesmaids and pageboys, a little nervous gathered behind her and a composed, elegant Meghan walked radiantly and majestically to the Quire on her own. A magnificent and unforgettable entrance.

Reunited at the Alter

Prince Harry, so handsome, dressed in frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royals waiting nervously at the alter trying to catch a glimpse of the woman he loved as she walked down the aisle. His face lit up with emotion as Megan came into the Quire with his father, The Prince of Wales who joined Meghan to walk her to the alter. "Thank You Pa" said Prince Harry. The couple finally got to be with one another, they held hands, gazed at each other and Prince Harry said nervously "You look amazing. I missed you".

Raising the Veil

My next favourite moment is when Prince Harry lifts Meghan's veil to reveal her beauty that is adorned by Queen Mary's stunning diamond bandeau tiara, lent by the Queen. They lovingly look into one another eyes and the World melted and tears were wiped by all watching, myself included as well as Prince Harry.

First Kiss

Of course my final moment is on the steps of the South door, where the newly married couple exchange their first kiss. It is reported by lip readers that Meghan asked "Do we kiss?" "yes" was the reply. Cheers roared and singing erupted from the 200 specially invited guest from organisations and charities that are close to the couple hearts. 

I could go on about the magnificent ceremony that came across intimate, almost as if we were all there. The Bishop Curry's passionate speech, the music, the gospel choir, the brilliant 19 year old cellist Kanne-Mason, the flowers, the love, the famous guests. The list goes on, the wedding though is all about the bride and groom.

As Bishop Curry said "Two people fell in love and we all turned up ".
